Actually, I do not like Piña Colada very much, but as Nicecream it’s really delicious and I can not get enough of it! 🙂

Like me a few weeks ago With a good blender or food processor, it is really easy to make creamy fruit ice cream without cream or milk in just a few minutes. And on top of that, vegan ice cream has far fewer calories than regular ice cream, since it only consists of frozen fruits! The basis for consistency should always be frozen bananas, which can be supplemented by other frozen fruits depending on your preference. For the Piña Colada ice cream, we have added frozen banana, pineapple chunks and a little bit of coconut milk and coconut sprinkles to the blender. The only drawback of Nicecream is that you can not freeze it anymore, otherwise it loses its creamy consistency and gets pretty hard. But then you have at least a good excuse to sip the whole ice at once. 😉

Here is the basic recipe for vegan Piña Colada ice cream (results in 3 large portions):

-220 g frozen bananas (about 2 bananas, cut into pieces and freeze overnight)

-300 g pineapple (about 1/4 pineapple, cut into pieces and also freeze overnight)

-6 El (about 60 ml) of coconut milk

-5 El coconut sprinkles, a little more to sprinkle as you like

Put the frozen fruit together with the coconut milk and sprinkles in a blender or food processor. Hereagain I have some tips for you regarding the preparation.
